Afghans provide flood relief for Afghans
A young boy carries a box of food provided to his family after their village was damaged by a flood in early August. With the help of the Dara Afghan National Police, the executive district manager of the Abdullah Khel Valley in the Dara District, led the distribution of humanitarian aid consisting of food and cooking items to those affected by the flooding. The local government identified families requiring aid, developed a plan of distribution and executed that plan with minimal Provincial Reconstruction Team Panjshir oversight.
