Operation Everest C-17 airdrop

Fourty bundles of JP-8 fuel leave the back of a C-17 Globemaster III during an airdrop Aug. 13 by members of the 816th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron. The drop was part of Operation Everest, a week-long push to fully exercise the theater drop capability of the C-17, which resulted in 837 bundles delivered in one week.
