GIs Teach Farming in Afghanistan
Shah Mirza, manager of the Dashtak Demonstration Farm, displays a flourishing horseradish plant. This farm is harvesting a variety of plants on what was a barren plot of land two years ago. This plant is a true testament to the Afghani?s hard work employing the new farming techniques taught by U.S. experts. (Photo by U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Sean M.
