GIs Teach Farming in Afghanistan

U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Joshua Hancock, Kentucky National Guard Agri-Business Development Team and Jim Hoffman, U.S. Department of Agriculture advisor to the Provincial Reconstruction Team Panjshir discuss what is causing the brown leaves on some of the corn stalks at the Dashtak Demonstration Farm. The farm is run and managed by local farmers who through the teachings and guidance from American experts are able to overcome the often nutrient deficient soil throughout the Panjshir Province.
