Dragon Lady takes to the skies
A pilot guides a U-2 Dragon Lady from the 380th Expeditionary Reconnaissance Squadron up into the air onward to a combat mission in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility from a non-disclosed base in Southwest Asia on May 19, 2010. In the first three months of 2010, Airmen supporting the deployed mission of the U-2 for the 380th Air Expeditionary Wing flew more than 190 sorties and 1,700 flying hours in support of deployed operations.
