Joining forces to save a life
The 376th Expeditionary Medical Group emergency staff treated Jamie Morris for trauma she suffered in a car accident in Central Asia Jan. 18. Ms. Morris is a Peace Corps volunteer. After being driven to the Transit Center at Manas, Kyrgyzstan, in white out conditions that night, the 376th EMDG staff here stabilized her overnight until the C-17 aeromedical evacuation team here could airlift her to Bagram Air Base. It took further cooperation from Bagram Air Base, Army personnel in Germany, and Andrews Air Force Base to get Jamie home.. (U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Airman Nichelle Anderson/released)
