Security forces training in Southwest Asia
Airman 1st Class Joshua Long, a security forces journeyman with the 380th Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron, wears a "red man" suit during security forces training at a non-disclosed location in Southwest Asia on Jan. 22, 2010. Security forces Airmen were training force protection Airmen on baton certification. During the training, they used simulated batons to learn the tactics, techniques and procedures for their use. Security forces Airmen receive training such as this at regional training centers such as the U.S. Air Force Expeditionary Center at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., in courses such as the Phoenix Warrior Training Course and the Phoenix Raven Training Course. Airman Long is deployed from the 437th Security Forces Squadron at Charleston Air Force Base, S.C., and his hometown is Berlin, Conn. (U.S. Air Force Photo/Tech. Sgt. Scott T. Sturkol/Released)
