Nangarhar PRT
NANGARHAR PROVINCE, Afghanistan - Army and Air Force members from the Nangarhar Provincial Reconstruction Team and children from a local village stretch before they play soccer together at the PRT’s Forward Operating Base in Jalalabad, Nov. 9, 2007. The Nangarhar PRT is a joint team of Airman, Soldiers, and representatives from the U.S. Department of State, U.S. Agency for International Development and the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The team is responsible for helping the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan improve security, governance and promote reconstruction in Nangarhar Province.
