Inspecting a C-130
BAGRAM AIRFIELD, Afghanistan -- Tech. Sgt. Lee Fortner removes screws from a panel on the EC-130 Compass Call so the aircraft can be inspected, while Airman First Class Sarah Garrett moves the lift when needed, Dec. 3, 2009. These inspections are important because the EC-130?s primary mission is to support tactical air operations. Both Airmen are from the 41st Expeditionary Electronic Combat Squadron deployed from Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Ariz. Sergeant Fortner, a crew chief, hails from Las Vegas. Airman Garrett, an electronic warfare specialist, hails from Alamogordo, N.M. (U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Airman Felicia Juenke)
