Gary Sinise makes an impact in Afghanistan
BAGRAM AIRFIELD, Afghanistan -- Gary Sinise (left) and Army Spc. William Seo (right) pose for a photo while handing out back packs to Afghan children Nov. 23, 2009. Mr. Sinise was contacted earlier in the year by Specialist Seo who asked him if he would make donations and would come to hand out the back packs to the children. Specialist Seo said "luckily he agreed and came to do this for us." "Together we both made this possible." On his way to Forward Operating Base Goshta, Mr. Sinise stopped at the school to hand out back packs and school supplies to local children. Specialist Seo, a medic attached to the 3-71 Cavalry, is deployed from Fort Drum, N.Y. (U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Airman Felicia Juenke)
