Military Working Dog training
BAGRAM AIRFIELD, Afghanistan -- Staff Sgt. Steven Gonzalez, a dog handler from the 455th Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron, gives his Military Working Dog, Bruno, a hand signal here, Oct. 8, 2009. Practicing non-verbal hand signals with the dogs allows for more stealth during operations. This particular signal tells Bruno to lie down. Sergeant Gonzalez, a Converse, Ind. native, is deployed from Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Ariz. (U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Airman Felicia Juenke)
