Total Force CRC controls skies over combat theater
Staff Sgt. John Anderson and Senior Airman Solomon Ruiz, both with the 71st Expeditionary Air Control Squadron, fix the air conditioning levels at the Control and Reporting Center on “dirt road.” There are eight CRC’s in the total force. They are currently participating in Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom and in the United States. Considered to be a high density, low-demand asset, these units can take their systems and equipment and set up in a bare-base location anywhere in the world within 24 hours.
