Tech. Sgt. Jesse Maddox, 379th Expeditionary Maintenance Squadron metals technology floor supervisor, installs a splitter on an air conditioner unit, Aug. 26, in Southwest Asia. Sergeant Maddox, along with his co-workers, designed and manufactured a custom splitter that limits the number of AC units supporting a B-1B Lancer from multiple units down to a single AC unit. Sergeant Maddox is a native of Clearwater, Fla. and is deployed from Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D. in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt.
