BAGRAM AIRFIELD, Afghanistan - Senior Airman Wayne Peeples Jr. (left) assists Tech. Sgt. John Lowe III (right), both from the 455th Expeditionary Communications Squadron, in digging out rocks obstructing them from completing their mission here, Aug. 20. The machines used to dig the channels for cable laying cannot cut through large rocks. When "Cable Dawg" members come across these large rocks they must extract the rocks by hand. Sergeant Lowe is deployed from Ramstein Air Base, Germany and hails from Philadelphia. Airman Peeples, a native of Montgomery, Ala., is deployed from the Pennsylvania Air National Guard.
