Base security in K-9 form
BAGRAM AIRFIELD, Afghanistan - Military Working Dog Kane sinks his teeth into a training sleeve during his daily training sessions, here Aug.9. The trainers wear a special sleeve and blouse to protect their arm and their uniforms. Kane, along with the other military working dogs, their handlers, a trainer and a kennel master make up the 455th Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron K-9 Unit. The Airmen built the facilities they, and their dogs live in and work in eight days. The facilities were fully operational in three weeks. (U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Airman Felicia Juenke)
