BAGRAM AIRFIELD, Afghanistan - Staff Sgt. Scott Carpenter, from the 455th Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron, holds onto Military Working Dog Kane, while he attacks a training sleeve here, Aug. 9. An Army veterinarian comes in once a month to ensure the military working dogs are healthy and being cared for properly.
