Cadets Learning the Deployed Life

Air Force Cadets Dan Everett and Erik Nelson, build Individual First Aid Kits for deploying members heading downrange, while visiting the 379th Expeditionary Medical Group facilities, June 25, 2009, in an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia. The cadets are part a program called Operation Air Force, which gives them exposure to the operational side of the Air Force before being commissioned. Cadet Everett hails from Isanti, Minn. and Cadet Nelson is from Montville, Conn., both are visiting from the Air Force Academy, Colo. to gain knowledge about Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom and Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa.
