Ground Radio Maintaining the Communications
Airmen 1st Class Lauren Persico, a ground radio maintainer with the 379th Expeditionary Communications Squadron, preps an RT-1319B ground to air radio for maintenance, June 22, 2009, in an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia. The radio allows operators to communicate with incoming aircraft from the ground. Airman Persico is native to Sarasota, Fla. and is deployed from Kadena Air Base, Japan, in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom and Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa.
