Airman 1st Class Avery Ward, 379th Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron fly away security team member, and other team members provides security for a C-130 Hercules during a training exercise, June 18, 2009, at an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia. The FAST team provides security for all airlift assets operating in the U.S. Central Command's area of responsibility where additional security is needed at unsecure locations. Airman Ward hails from Lake Charles, La. and is deployed from Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska.
