Launch of the Sentry
SOUTHWEST ASIA - An E-3 Sentry taxies out for take-off behind the tail wing of another standing ready on the flightline at the 380th Air Expeditionary Wing, June 10 at an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia. The Sentry is one of 3 aircraft critical to the reconnaissance mission at the 380th AEW. Maintainers work around the clock performing maintenance, launching and recovering the aircraft, keeping it flying the tasking order every day. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Brian J.
