New Engine Test Cell
Tech. Sgt. Richard Replinger, a turbo propulsion craftsman with the 379th Expeditionary Maintenance Squadron performs a pre-run inspection on a C-130H Hercules engine prior to running a test on the engine, June 14, 2009, in an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia. The test cell is the only T56 testing rig in the U.S. Central Command's area of responsibility, which allows engine tests to be carried out here in the AOR instead of going back to Ramstein AB, Germany. Sergeant Replinger is native to Fayetteville, N.C. and is deployed from Hurlburt Field Air Force Base, Fla., in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom and Combine Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa.
