Maintainers Help Keeping the Fight Going
Airman 1st Class Derrick Monroe, 379th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron combat oriented supply organization (COSO) journeyman, and Master Sgt. Rose Elliot, 379th EAMXS COSO NCO in charge, inventory the tail number bin where parts are held until needed, June 9, 2009, at an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia. COSO personnel manage and maintain unit's tail number bins and track items removed to assist maintenance technicians in the research of parts requested to perform their mission. Airman Monroe hails from Albany, Ga. Sergeant Elliot hails from Fort Wayne, Ind. Both are deployed from Dyess Air Force Base, Texas, in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom and Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa.
