119th AMU maintaining DV travels
Senior Airman Sarah Rasmussen, and Tech. Sgt. Darby Plath both aircraft mechanics with the 119th Aircraft Maintenance Unit, remove the engine cover from a C-21 aircraft during a preflight inspection, June 10, 2009, in an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia. The main mission of the 379the Expeditionary Operations Group C-21 fleet is to transport distinguished visitors to locations within the U.S. Central Command's area of responsibility. Airman Rasmussen is native to Moorehead, Minn. and Sergeant Plath hails from Fargo, N.D., both are deployed from the North Dakota Air National Guard in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom and Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa.
