Flightline Fest
An E-8C Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System aircraft heads a line of planes parked at Flightline Fest, 29, 2009, at an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia. The 379th Air Expeditionary Wing hosted the half day event which gave base personnel the chance to look at static aircraft displays and other equipment up close, all without interrupting the mission of providing combat airpower throughout the U.S. Central Command's area of responsibility. The other aircraft in line are a C-17 Globemaster III, a KC-135R Stratotanker, a Royal Air Force Vickers VC-10 tanker and the tail of a B-1B Lancer. The 379th Air Expeditionary Wing operates in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom and Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa. (U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Airman Andrew Satran/released)
