Flightline Fest

Captain James Dykas, a B-1B Lancer pilot with the 9th Expeditionary Bomb Squadron is interviewed by Airman 1st Class Jennifer Herring and Senior Airman Katerina Slivinske from the 379th Air Expeditionary Wing Public Affairs office during Flightline Fest, May 29, 2009, in an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia. The 379th Air Expeditionary Wing hosted the half day event which gave base personnel the chance to look at static aircraft displays and other equipment up close, all without interrupting the mission of providing combat airpower throughout the U.S. Central Command's area of responsibility. Airman Herring and Airman Slivinske are both radio and television broadcasters. Airman Herring is from Savannah, Ga. and is deployed from Kadena Air Base, Japan. Airman Slivinske is from Ventura, Calif. and is deployed from Holloman Air Force Base, N.M. Capt Dykas is from Niceville, Fla. and is deployed from Dyess Air Force Base, Texas.
