Bundling Fuel for Freedom
U.S. Army Sergeant Josh Sheptock, an 824th Quartermaster Det 7 Rigger, loads bundles of JP-8 fuel and gasoline onto a trailer, May 27, 2009, at an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia. The fuel drums are specially packed by the riggers for the drop from a C-17 Globemaster III to forward operating locations in the U.S. Central Command's Area of Responsibility. Sergeant Sheptock hails from Fayetteville, N.C. and is deployed from Fort Bragg, N.C., in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom and Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa.
