Tower Watch

Tech. Sgt. Tracy McDonald, the tower watch supervisor for the 379th Expeditionary Operations Support Squadron, watches as a C-17 Globemaster III leaves the main ramp to taxi to the runway for takeoff here, May 18, 2009, in an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia. Sergeant McDonald and fellow air traffic controllers, use binoculars to monitor everything on the flightline from moving aircraft to support equipment and foreign object debris. Sergeant McDonald is native to Tickfaw, La. and is deployed from Alexandria Air National Guard Base, La., in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom and Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa.
