Transmission brings new life
Lt. Col. Tanya Kubinec, 380th Expeditionary Logistics Readiness Squadron, commander, Senior Airman Adam Owens and Senior Airman Michael Jakubec, 380th ELRS, vehicle maintenance, line up a new transmission with the engine of a Pontiac GTO, April 26 at an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia. Colonel Kubinec coined the two Airmen for their work on the GTO as well as other critical vehicles belonging to the 380th Air Expeditionary Wing. Airman Owens is deployed from 174th Air National Guard Base, Hancock Field, N.Y. and hails from Binghamton, N.Y. Airman Jakubec is deployed from Kadena AB, Japan and hails from Spanaway Wash.
