Challenge pushes Airmen and Soldiers
Spc. Alexandre Whitnell, 5-52 Air Defense Artillery Battalion, uses a 15ft rope to cross a water obstacle with his teammates following behind, during a Defender Challenge course, April 25 at an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia. The competition was close with his team finishing second place, just one second behind the winning team. Specialist Whitnell is deployed out of Fort Bliss, Texas and hails from Chicago, Ill.
