A day on the flightline

Lt. Col. Charles Wallace, 455th Air Expeditionary Wing, is greeted by Airman 1st Class Joshua Carethers, 455th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, as he returns from a close air support mission. The F-15E "Strike Eagle's" primary mission is to provide close air support to U.S. and coalition ground troops in Afghanistan. Colonel Wallace is deployed from Seymour-Johnson Air Force Base, N.C.
