Fueling the Way to Mission Success
Tech. Sgt. Raymond Carpenter, 379th Expeditionary Logistics Readiness Squadron fuels bulk storage supervisor, ties and secures a berm liner down in the bulk expeditionary receiving transportation holding area (BERTHA), Apr. 10, 2009, at an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia. The fuel held in the BERTHA is distributed to various locations around the base where needed to ensure mission success. Sergeant Carpenter hails from Princeton, Idaho and is deployed from Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D. in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom and Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa.
