David Hickey, 504th Expeditionary Air Support Operations Group vice commander, thanks Airmen from the 455th Air Expeditionary Wing for their support setting up the new group that was formerly stood up at Bagram Air Field, Afghanistan, March 30. After an assumption of command ceremony earlier in the day, 504th EASOG Airmen held an open house to demonstrate how they contribute to Operation Enduring Freedom. The new group consists of more than 125 air liaison officers, tactical air controls and combat weather Airmen assigned to the 717th Air Support Operations Squadron, 817th ASOS and 917th Combat Weather Squadrons deployed throughout Afghanistan.
