Airmen, Soldiers set 'sites' on Afghanistan's future
Members of the Kapisa/Parwan Provincial Reconstruction Team pass local villagers on the way to their first objective of the day ? the Masab High School construction site. More than a dozen PRT members convoyed March 14 to the school and two other major projects - a gravel crushing plant and a new ministry of education building near the Kapisa provincial governor's compound. Air Force Master Sgt. Todd Davis, the PRT's civil engineer and pay agent, spoke with foremen at each location and noted the progress made at the work sites. The team also attended a provincial council meeting with local leaders to discuss security measure within the province. Sergeant Davis is deployed from Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo.(U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Jason Lake)
