380th AEW congratulates new Chief-selects
SOUTHWEST ASIA - (Left to Right) Senior Master Sgt. James Leichtenberg, Senior Master Sgt. Scott Robbins, Senior Master Sgt. James Williams, 380th Expeditionary Maintenance Group and Senior Master Sgt. Jeffrey Wilson, 363rd Training Group light the last candle during the Chief Master Sergeant Recognition Ceremony, Mar 14. Tradition states a member of each rank lights a candle signifying the transition through the ranks from Airman Basic to Chief Master Sergeant. The four SMSgt's will all pin on Chief in the coming months adding a new chapter to their Air Force career. Sergeant Leichtenberg is deployed from Offutt AFB, Neb.
