Rigging Up Support for Troops Across the AOR
U.S. Army Specialist Marvin Holder, an 824th Quartermaster Company Detachment 7 Rigger, secures a commodity bundle with 550 cord in preparation for an air drop to a base in the U.S. Central Command's area of responsibility (AOR), Mar. 9, 2009, at an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia. Shipments of food, ammunition, and fuel prepared by the riggers can be destined for any coalition forces on the ground across the AOR. Sgt. McNeeley hails from Salisbury, N.C. and is deployed from Fort Bragg, N.C., in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom and Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa.
