Fuels Airman sets new record
Airman 1st Class Jimmy Farias, 455th Expeditionary Logistics Readiness Squadron, retracts the fuel hose as he finishes his milestone passing one million gallons of aviation fuel at Bagram Air Field, Afghanistan, Feb. 27. Airman Farias arrived at BAF on Jan. 4,and achieved the milestone 52 days after his arrival here. In that time frame, he's issued 1,001,978 gallons of aviation fuel to 428 U.S. and coalition aircraft. The previous record for one million gallons was 56 days.
