Operation Iraqi and Enduring Freedom and Combined Joint Task Force- Horn of Africa

Staff Sergeant Art Lothrop, 379th Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron (ESFS) Combat Arms Training Maintenance (CATM) NCOIC, uses a barrel erosion gauge to inspect for wear and damage on an M4 carbine, Feb. 15, 2009, at an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia. Team members of CATM, issue, inspect, and maintain weapons held in the armory for the base. Staff Sgt. Lothrop hails from Colfax, Wash. and is deployed from Tyndall Air Force Base, Fla. and is deployed in support of Operation Iraqi and Enduring Freedom and Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa.
