Operation Iraqi and Enduring Freedom and Combined Joint Task Force- Horn of Africa

Airman 1st Class Seung Kim, a 379th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron Structural Apprentice, slices through a piece of angle iron which will be used to create a Foreign Object Debris (FOD) checker, Feb. 15, 2009, at an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia. The FOD checker will facilitate rock removal from vehicle tires at flight line entry control points around the airfield. Airman 1st Class Kim hails from San Jose, Calif. and is deployed from Travis Air Force Base, Calif. in support of Operation Iraqi and Enduring Freedom and Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa.
