Avionic Fix
Airman 1st Class Chaz Bucholtz, an Avionics Intermediate Support technician with the 379th Expeditionary Maintenance Squadron, replaces an A9 board from an analog/digital converter off of an F-15 Eagle APG-70 radar, Feb. 11, 2009, in an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia. The radar system reads the surroundings of the aircraft for navigational purposes and lets the F-15 pilot know the location of other aircraft are in the area. Airman Bucholtz is native to Dayton, Ohio and is deployed from Royal Air Force, Lakenheath, England in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom and Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa.
