380th AEW welcomes Navy Global Hawk program
SOUTHWEST ASIA -- Eddie Evans (left) and Troy Rappleye hand an Ultra High Frequency Satellite Antenna to Michael Williams here Jan. 10. The antenna provides a wideband link to the Navy's first Global Hawk in the Area of Responsibility. Mr. Rappleye and Mr. Williams are field support representatives for L3 Communications, while Mr. Evans is an aircraft ground technician with Northrop-Grumman. The unmanned aerial system recently arrived at the 380th Air Expeditionary Wing, marking yet another milestone in the intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance field. (US Air Force photo by Tech.
