Senior Airman Yvette Fowlkes, a medical technician with the 379th Medical Group, packs sterile strips into a wound on Airman 1st Class Bobby Knight, 379 Expeditionary Maintenance Squadron here, Jan. 13, 2009, in an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia. The sterile strips aids the wound in healing from the inside out, as well as keeps the wounded area from catching infection. Airman Fowlkes' hometown is Fairfield Calif., and is deployed from Laughlin Air Force Base, Texas and Airman Knight is originally from Ashland City, S.D. and is deployed from Ellsworth Air Force Base, Tenn. in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom and Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa.(U.S. Air Force Photo by Staff Sgt.
