Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa

Tech. Sgt. Marty Davis, assigned to the 340th Aircraft Maintenance Unit, replaces the final blade from an engine fan assembly on a KC-135R Stratotanker engine here, Jan. 8, 2009, at an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia. The aircraft underwent a 1,500 hour inspection where the blades of it's engines were examined for any defects that would render the aircraft unable to perform it's mission. Sergeant Davis is deployed from McConnell Air Force Base, Kan., in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom and Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa. (U.S. Air Force Photo by/Staff Sgt.
