Operations Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom and Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa
Captain Tim Bougie, a flight nurse assigned to the 379th Expeditionary Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron, carries a litter filled with aeromedical equipment onto a C-130 as part of setting up for an air evacuation of injured personnel Dec. 29, 2008, at an undisclosed air base in Southwest Asia. He is responsible for evacuating injured personnel from the area of responsibility and providing medical assistance until they arrive at a medical facility. Captain Bougie, a native of Minneapolis, Minn., is deployed from the Minnesota Air National Guard, in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom and Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa.
