Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa
Senior Airman Adam Hall and Senior Airman Peter Yurgin, aircraft maintenance journeymen assigned to the 379th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, replace a part on a B-1B Lancer as it waits take off, Dec. 28, at an undisclosed air base in Southwest Asia. The B-1B carries the largest payload in the Air Force inventory and can rapidly deliver massive quantities of precision and non-precision weapons against any adversary in the Central Command area of responsibility. Airman Hall, from Nashville, Tenn., and Airman Yurgin, from Atlantic City, N.J., are both deployed from Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D. in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom and Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa.
