Senior Airman Brittney Hardrick, surgical technician, places a camera inside of a patient so Maj. Craig Kolasch, general surgeon, can perform a laparoscopic hernia repair Dec. 23, 2008, at an undisclosed air base in Southwest Asia. Both Airmen are assigned to the 379th Expeditionary Medical Group. Many of the surgeries performed here are hernia repairs. Airman Hardrick is a native of Dayton Ohio, and Major Kolasch, is a native of Great Falls, Va.
