Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa

Tech. Sgt. Antonio Cooper, deputy airfield manager assigned to the 379th Expeditionary Operations Support Squadron, observes a C-17 Globemaster III coming in for a landing, Dec. 15, 2008, at an undisclosed air base in Southwest Asia. After the aircraft has landed, Sergeant Cooper inspects the runway for debris. The runway is checked at least once every two hours and more often when needed.
