Holiday heirloom comes to Afghanistan
Colonel Roger Nell, command judge advocate at Task Force Warrior, stands in his office at Bagram Air Field, Afghanistan, Nov. 29 beside the artificial Christmas tree that holds over 40 years of service tradition in his family. Purchased by his mother in the late 60s, the tree is now on its third wartime deployment, and sixth deployment overall.
