Gym opening honors fallen comrade
LAGHMAN PROVINCE, Afghanistan--Soldiers and Airmen tour the newly renovated fitness center here Feb 14. The fitness center was remodeled and renamed in honor of Army Staff Sgt. Charles R. Browning, 1st Battalion, 158th Infantry. Sergeant Browning was assigned to the Methar Lam Provincial Reconstruction Team and was killed June 1, 2007 when an improvised explosive device detonated under the vehicle he was riding in killing him instantly and wounding four others.
