Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa

Air transportation technicians assigned to the 8th Expeditionary Air Mobility Squadron, with an assist from crew chiefs from the 816th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron, prepare a load of munitions for transport on a C-17 Globemaster III, Dec. 3, at an undisclosed air base in Southwest Asia. The C-17 is capable of rapid strategic delivery of troops and all types of cargo to main operating bases or directly to forward bases in the deployment area.
