ZABUL PROVINCIAL RECONSTRUCTION TEAM, Qalat, Afghanistan

Nov. 5, 9-year-old Toor Pekai, and her grandfather Malik Khan, rest after a trip from Kandahar Air Field. A team of surgeons at KAF worked six hours to remove a large tumor from Toor Pekai’s face. The tumor had impacted her ability to speak and eat.
